APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Real People wishes to advise bondholders that Peter de Beyer has been appointed
as Chairman of the Board of Directors with effect from 5 April 2011.
Peter de Beyer joined the board of RPIH in 2009. He retired from Old Mutual in
2008 after a career spanning 30 years, culminating in his appointment as deputy
MD in 2000. Peter qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in 1988.
He is currently an independent non-executive director of Oceana Group and a
number of Old Mutual subsidiary companies. In addition to his non-executive
directorships, Peter is an entrepreneur and an active investor.
Peter has many years of experience in financial services at executive management
and Board level and also played a key role on industry representative bodies.
Peter replaces Ron Den Besten, who has served as Chairman since 28 November
2007. Ron continues to serve on the Board as a non-executive director.
