COMPETITION COMMISSION`S DECISION
Freeworld`s shareholders are advised that Freeworld`s board of directors will be
meeting before the end of the week to formally consider the Competition
Commission`s ("the Commission") decision, which was reached on Monday, 18 April
2011 and released today, and will announce its views in this regard shortly
thereafter.
The Commission has conditionally approved the proposed transaction in terms of
which Kansai Paint Co. Ltd ("Kansai") will acquire control of Freeworld. The
full set of the non-confidential Commission`s decision and conditions thereto
will be published on Freeworld`s website at http://www.freeworldcoatings.com
