CHANGE TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, Assore is pleased to announce that Mr Donald (Don) Ncube has been
appointed as an independent non-executive director to the Assore Board with
effect from 3 May 2011.
Mr Ncube is currently the managing director of Vula Mining Supplies
(Proprietary) Limited, executive chairman of Badimo Gas(Proprietary) Limited,
and an independent non - executive director of Goldfields Limited.
Previously, he was an alternate director of Anglo American Industrial
Corporation Limited and Anglo American Corporation of South Africa Limited, a
director of AngloGold Ashanti Limited as well as non-executive chairman of South
African Airways (Proprietary) Limited, Real Africa Asset Management
(Proprietary) Limited, African Life Assurance Company Limited, Sun International
South Africa Limited, Oceana Fishing Limited and Atomic Energy Corporation of
South Africa Limited.
