FirstRand Bank Limited, acting through its RMB division, issues the RMB Coal
Exchange Traded Note (RMB Coal ETN). The RMB Coal ETN is the second ETN to be
issued by FirstRand on the RMB Exchange Traded Note Platform.
Underlying Commodity Coal (Richards Bay Coal Futures contracts)
Issue Size 100,000 units
Denomination 1 unit at R847.00 per unit. 1 unit gives
exposure to one tonne of coal.

The Issuer Services Division of the JSE Limited ("JSE") approved the listing of
the abovementioned Exchange Traded Notes.
All members of the JSE may participate in trading which will occur according to
normal JSE Rules. Settlement will be effected electronically through Strate.
Selling Restrictions: Subject to Section H of the Exchange Control Rulings and
the relevant Pricing Supplement issued in accordance with the FirstRand Bank
Limited ZAR30,000,000,000 Note Programme.
