CHANGE IN COMPANY SECRETARY
In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, Village shareholders are advised that iThemba Governance and Statutory
Solutions (Proprietary) Limited has resigned as company secretary of Village
with effect from 3 May 2011.
Shareholders are further advised that Ms Shamrita Singh has been appointed as an
in house full time company secretary of Village effective from 3 May 2011.
Ms Singh was previously company secretary and head of Legal at Western Areas
before the company was taken over by Gold Fields. She holds a BA LLB from the
University of Witwatersrand and an LLM in International Human Rights Law from
the University of Nottingham in the UK.
