TRANSFER OF SECONDARY LISTING TO THE ALTERNATIVE EXCHANGE ("AltX") OF THE
JOHANNESBURG STOCK EXCHANGE LIMITED ("JSE")
1. Introduction
Lonrho, whose primary listing is a Premium Listing on the London Stock Exchange,
is pleased to announce that the JSE has formally approved the transfer of the
secondary listing of the Company from the Venture Capital Market of the JSE to
the AltX of the JSE with effect from the commencement of business on 17 May
2011. The Company will list 1,180,614,449 ordinary shares on the AltX. Java
Capital will remain as sponsor to the company.
Lonrho is an international conglomerate operating in 17 African countries with a
focus on five core business sectors, namely: agribusiness; infrastructure;
transportation; hotels; and support services.
