TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the Listing Requirements of the JSE Limited, a
company is required to publish a trading statement as soon as it becomes
reasonably certain that its financial results for the period to be reported on
next will differ by 20% or more from those of the corresponding period of the
previous year.
Shareholders are advised that for the period ended 28 February 2011, its
headline earnings per share and earnings per share are expected to be more than
120% higher than the results for the comparative period.
At this stage, the company is unable to quantify, with any degree of certainty,
the expected basic and headline earnings per share for the year ended 28
February 2011 and more specific information will be provided to the shareholders
as soon as there is a degree of certainty as to the range, within 20%, by which
headline earnings per share and earnings per share will improve.
The above information has not been reviewed or reported on by the Group`s
external auditors.
