Appointment of director
In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Listings Requirements,
shareholders are advised that Ms Albertinah Kekana (BComm, CA (SA) has been
appointed as an independent non executive director of the company with effect
from today, 12 May 2011.
Ms Kekana is currently the chief operating officer of the Public Investment
Corporation and was former director, corporate finance at UBS AG and served as
an executive in corporate finance at the London office of NM Rothschild & Sons
Limited.
Mr Peter Moyo, Chairman of Vodacom Group, stated that he welcomed the
appointment and was looking forward to Ms Kekana`s contribution on the Board.
