Management Board Appointment at British American Tobacco
Giovanni Giordano has been appointed as Group Human Resources Director at
British American Tobacco with effect from 1 June 2011. Giovanni is an
international human resources executive with wide experience at Procter & Gamble
and Ferrero. He has American and Italian nationality.
Commenting on the appointment, Nicandro Durante, Chief Executive of British
American Tobacco, said: "I am delighted to welcome Giovanni as a member of the
Management Board. His extensive consumer goods and international experience
makes him ideal for the role and I`m confident that he will fit into our
management style and culture very well. I would also like to thank John Daly,
