TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the Botswana Stock Exchange, a listed
company is required to publish a trading statement as soon as it is satisfied
that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that its financial results (as
measured by net profit after tax) for the next reporting period will differ by
10% or more from those of the previous corresponding reporting period.
The Board of Wilderness hereby announces that the Group`s results for the year
ended 28 February 2011 are likely to be significantly higher from those achieved
in the comparative period. This is mainly due to the sale of capital assets
during the period. At the same time, it is recorded that the Group`s operating
results will be lower than those of the comparative period. Therefore
shareholders and investors are advised to exercise caution when trading in the
Company`s securities until the release of the Group results for the year ended
28 February 2011.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed and reported on by the Group`s auditors.
The results are expected to be released on the Botswana Stock Exchange website
and on SENS on or about 27th May 2011. Wilderness shall hold a results
presentation at the Grand Palm Conference Centre, Molepolole Road, Gaborone,
Botswana on 30th May 2011 at 12:00 and at the offices of Wilderness Safaris
(Pty) Ltd, 373 Rivonia Boulevard, Rivonia, Johannesburg on 31 May 2011 at 15h00.
