The Company hereby advises that Mr Roy McAlpine, on the attainment of his 70th
birthday, has intimated to the ARM Board his intention to retire as an
Independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 30 June 2011.
The ARM Board wishes to express its deep appreciation for the immense
contribution made by Mr McAlpine during his tenure as a Director of ARM.
