26 May, 2011. TORONTO: Platmin Limited ("Platmin" or "the Company"; TSX/AIM:
PPN; JSE: PLN) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kgosi Nyalala Molefe
John Pilane as a director on the Board of Platmin Limited.
Kgosi Pilane (53) will be the Platmin Board representative for the Bakgatla Ba
Kgafela (Bakgatla) Tribe, a key partner in the development of Platmin`s
operations on the western limb of the Bushveld Complex in South Africa.
Kgosi Pilane was an independent business owner, as well as General Secretary of
the Rustenburg United Taxi Association before assuming his current role as Kgosi
of the Bakgatla. In this capacity he restructured the Bakgatla Traditional
Council into a business entity, and developed partnerships with Anglo Platinum,
Barrick Gold, Pallinghurst and Platmin.
Platmin Chairman, Brian Gilbertson welcomed Kgosi Pilane`s appointment: "I am
delighted to welcome Kgosi Pilane to the Platmin Board as a representative of
the Bakgatla and the community. I look forward to his counsel and long
association with the Company."

About Platmin
Platmin`s primary asset is the Pilanesberg Platinum Mine, which is currently
building up to full production. The focus of the Company is on achieving the
metal production forecasts predicted in the bankable feasibility study for the
mine and participating, through judicious investment, in the considerable value
creation potential which lies in the optimal development and exploitation of the
western limb of the Bushveld Complex. Platmin also holds interests in projects
