APPOINTMENT OF FINANCIAL DIRECTOR
Further to the announcement released on SENS on 24 March 2011, advising that Ms
Karin Zarnack had resigned as Financial Director of the Company with effect from
31 May 2011, Illovo is pleased to announce that Mr Mohammed Abdool-Samad has
been appointed as Financial Director with effect from 1 September 2011.
Mr Abdool-Samad holds a BCom degree and qualified as a chartered accountant in
1996. He has held senior positions within the Anglo American group since 2005,
and presently is the Chief Financial Officer of Anglo American Thermal Coal.
