NOTICE OF WAL-MART / MASSMART DECISION DATE
(Following is a guideline for journalists. The information can be used but
please do not quote Nandi Mokoena or the Tribunal)
Wal-Mart / Massmart decision date
The Competition Tribunal will issue its decision in the Wal-Mart / Massmart
merger, together with a statement, on Tuesday 31 May 2011 at 14H00. The full
reasons for the Tribunal`s decisions will be issued within 20 working days
thereafter.
Please note that the Tribunal will not be delivering the statement or the
decision in person. It will issue the decision and statement by e-mail.
