CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, shareholders are advised of the following changes to the board of
directors:
1 Resignation of the Financial Director
Mr. Graham Edward Ferns has resigned with effect from 31 May 2011.
2 Appointment of executive and non-executive directors
With effect from 1 June 2001, the following directors have been appointed
to the Board:
a Jonathan Maehler - Financial Director
Jonathan was a previous Financial Director of Chemspec until he left
the Company in 2008. He was an audit and assurance partner at BDO in
KwaZulu Natal where he specialised in management and tax consulting
and is well versed in corporate governance and corporate finance.
b Timothy Dykins - Non-Executive Director
Tim started with the business at the age of 21 in 1973 and worked
through the ranks to become Managing Director. He held this position
for 15 years and left the business in 2005. Tim has a wealth of
knowledge in all areas of the business, in particular the products,
operations and customer relations
Chemspec welcomes the new appointees to the Board and looks forward to their
contribution to the Company.
