ACCIDENT AT ZONDEREINDE MINE
The management of Northam regrets to report that an employee was fatally
injured yesterday evening, 7 June 2011, in an underground tramming accident
at its Zondereinde mine in Limpopo Province.
The mine has stopped all underground tramming operations, pending the outcome
of an in loco investigation.
