Announcement in relation to the African Equity Index Linked Note SBAEI ("the
Note") following an adjustment to the Standard Bank Africa Total Return Index.
Notice is hereby given that the Standard Bank Africa Total Return Index ("the
Index") has been adjusted in accordance with the provisions of the Index
Description Document following the announcement of the scheme of arrangement in
terms of which JSC Atomredmetzoloto (`ARMZ`) will acquire all the issued shares
in Mantra Resources Limited (MRU AU), which was a constituent share comprising
the Index.
