TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, companies are required to
publish a trading statement as soon as they are reasonably certain that the
financial results for the current reporting period will be more than 20%
different from that of the previous corresponding period.
As this is the first results announcement by the Company, the comparative
figures for this statement are those of the former Luxembourg holding company,
Marshall Monteagle Holdings S.A. Based on those comparative figures, Marshall
expects that headline earnings per share for the six months ended 31 March 2011
are likely to increase by between 40% and 60% to those of the comparative period
of last year, and earnings per share for the six months ended 31 March 2011 are
likely to increase by between 80% and 100% to those of the comparative period
last year.
Shareholders are advised that the above information has not been reviewed or
reported on by Marshall`s external auditors.
The preliminary announcement of the company`s results for the six months ended
31 March 2011 is expected to be announced on 15 June 2011.
