DIVIDEND DECLARATION AND FURTHER CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Datacentrix shareholders ("Shareholders") are referred to the audited results
announcement for the year ended 28 February 2011 wherein Shareholders were
advised that the declaration of the final dividend had been postponed pending
obtaining clarification in regard to the Company`s cash requirements in
relation to, inter alia, the envisaged Black Economic Empowerment transaction
("BEE Transaction").
The board of directors ("the Board") has concluded its review of the Company`s
cash requirements and accordingly, notice is hereby given that the board has
declared a final dividend of 9.18 cents per share in respect of the financial
year ended 28 February 2011. This is in line with the Company`s current policy
of two times cover on headline earnings per share.
The relevant dates for the final dividend are as follows:
2011
Last day to trade (cum the dividend) Friday, 8 July
Shares commence trading (ex the dividend) Monday, 11 July
Record date Friday, 15 July
Payment date Monday, 18 July
Share certificates may not be dematerialised or rematerialised between Monday,
11 July 2011 and Friday, 15 July 2011, both days inclusive.
Further cautionary announcement
The envisaged BEE Transaction remains a high priority for the Company and
the Board is continuing its efforts to conclude this transaction as soon as
possible. Shareholders are advised to continue exercising caution when dealing
in the Company`s securities until a further announcement regarding the BEE
Transaction is made.
