APPOINTMENT OF ALTERNATE DIRECTOR AND COMPANY SECRETARY
In compliance with rule 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
Cadiz advises shareholders of the following appointments which are effective
from 24 June 2011:
Abigail Brooks, the chief financial officer of the group`s strategic empowerment
shareholder, Makana Investment Corporation, has been appointed as alternate
director to Peter-Paul Ngwenya.
Charl Schmahl has been appointed as Company Secretary. He replaces Fraser Shaw,
an executive director of Cadiz, who has resigned as Company Secretary in line
with King III which recommends that a director should not hold the position of
company secretary.
