Cadiz announces the awarding of share rights and issue of shares in the capital
of the Company in terms of the Cadiz Executive Equity Scheme Trust (CEEST). In
terms of the scheme key employees receive a portion of their annual performance
award in equity rather than cash. The awards which are based on a share price of
275 cents per share vest on 3 June 2012 and are exercisable 1/3 per annum from 3
June 2012 and were all off-market.
