GEN - General - Request for comment on the Sponsor, Designated Advisor and
Debt Sponsor Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct
The role of the Sponsor, Designated Advisor and Debt Sponsor is to provide
advice on the JSE Listings Requirements and the Debt Listings Requirements.
These entities are approved by the JSE based on the knowledge and skills of the
approved executives.
A Sponsor Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct ("Code and
Standards") are important to maintain excellent regulation in the listed
environment.
In light of this we are proposing the Code and Standards.
The JSE invites comment on the Code and Standards from the market, to be
submitted to ThandekaM@jse.co.za by 29 July 2011. The Code and Standards is
available for review on request at the JSE. The Code and Standards are also
available at www.jse.co.za under the Announcement section.
