Management change at British American Tobacco
British American Tobacco has announced two changes in regional responsibility.
Jack Bowles, who has been Regional Director responsible for Western Europe
since 2009, will assume responsibility for the Americas region.
Mark Cobben, who has been managing the Americas since 2007, will take
responsibility for Western Europe.
Both of these changes will be effective 1st October 2011.
Commenting on the change, Nicandro Durante, Chief Executive of British
American Tobacco said: "This change will enable the Group to have broader
regional experience on the Management Board which we believe is critical for a
globally aligned organisation. I would like to congratulate both directors on
the excellent performance of the regions under their leadership."
