Subject to the completed demerger of Mpact Ltd (South Africa, non-constituent)
from Mondi Ltd (South Africa, constituent) and notification from the Stock
Exchange, FTSE and the JSE announces the following changes:

to the index with a shares in issue

the index with an unchanged shares in

Capped 40 will be assessed using the closing price of Mpact Ltd on 11 July 2011.
A further FTSE/JSE notice will be issued after close on 11 July 2011 detailing
subsequent index changes.
