RESULTS OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Sovereign shareholders ("Shareholders") are advised that at the annual general
meeting of Shareholders held today ("Meeting"), with the exception of Ordinary
Resolution No. 9 regarding the amendments to the Sovereign Food Investments
Limited 2007 Share Plan proposed in terms of Schedule 14 of the JSE Limited
Listings Requirements, which was withdrawn prior to the commencement of the
Meeting, all the resolutions tabled at the Meeting were approved by the
requisite majority of Shareholders present or represented by proxy.
