GENERAL MEETING
MODIFICATIONS TO RESULTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2010
Shareholders are advised that the annual financial statements were mailed to
shareholders today and contain the modifications set out below to the reviewed
provisional results published on SENS on 1 April 2011.
The modifications resulted from:
Statement of Financial Position and Statement of Comprehensive Income: The
rehabilitation provision was underprovided by an amount of R2.3 million, while
the deferred taxation was overprovided by R2.3 million in respect of the 2007
financial year.
Statement of Cash Flows: A portion of the additions in the property, plant and
equipment was previously incorrectly included in non-cash items.
The net effect of the modifications on the 2010 annual financial statements, are
as follows:
