DECLARED FINAL ORDINARY DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON ANGLO AMERICAN
PLATINUM LIMITED ENHANCED DIVIDEND SECURITIES - ("AMSIDE")
With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of Anglo
American Platinum Limited have declared a final ordinary dividend of
500 cents per ordinary share payable on Monday, 22 August 2011 to
ordinary shareholders recorded in the books of the company at the close
of business on Friday, 19 August 2011.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Dividend Securities,
AMSIDE, will receive an Anglo American Platinum Limited final dividend
of 500 cents per ordinary share on Monday, 22 August 2011 in terms of
the Cession clause incorporated in the Supplement between the holders
and Investec Bank Limited. The last day to trade ("cum" the dividend)
in order to participate in the dividend will be Friday, 12 August 2011.
AMSIDE Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the
dividend from the commencement of business on Monday, 15 August 2011,
and the record date will be Friday, 19 August 2011.
