RESULTS OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND RETIREMENT OF DIRECTOR
Shareholders are advised that all the resolutions set out in the Notice
of Annual General Meeting were passed by the requisite majority of
shareholders represented at the annual general meeting of Tongaat Hulett
Limited held on 29 July 2011. The special resolutions will be filed with
the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission.
Mr RHJ Stevens retired as an independent non-executive director at the
annual general meeting on 29 July 2011, having reached the mandatory
retirement age in terms of the company`s articles of association. Mr
Stevens was thanked sincerely for his wisdom, participation and
contribution to Tongaat Hulett over 33 years.
