TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, companies are required to
publish a trading statement as soon as they become reasonably certain that the
financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by more than 20%
from that of the previous corresponding period.
Accordingly, a review of the financial results for the year ended 31 July 2011
by management has indicated that earnings per share and headline earnings per
share are expected to be more than 100% lower than the previous corresponding
period amount of 7.5 cents.
Adjusted earnings per share, which equates to headline earnings excluding
amortisation charges and unrealised foreign exchange losses on forward exchange
contracts and group loans, is expected to be more than 80% lower than the
previous corresponding period amount of 13.1 cents.
Management will issue a further trading statement once there is more certainty
on the exact range of the financial results for the year ended 31 July 2011.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by SecureData`s auditors.
SecureData`s year end results are expected to be published on SENS on or about
13 October 2011.
