PRO FORMA FINANCIAL EFFECTS OF BNP PARIBAS TRANSACTION
Shareholders are referred to the announcement on SENS dated 4 August 2011
relating to the BNP Paribas acquisition of a 60% interest in the Cadiz
Securities Business.
At the time of this announcement the pro forma financial effects of the
transaction were not provided, as Cadiz had instructed an external party to
undertake valuations of certain businesses involved in the transaction, and was
therefore unable to make a reliable estimate of the pro forma effects.
This information was expected to be available on or about 18 August 2011 but
this date has now been extended and the information is anticipated to be
available on or about 30 August 2011.
The circular containing the details of the transaction, and the details of the
general meeting of shareholders convened to consider and approve the
transaction, will be posted to shareholders on or about 20 September 2011.
