MEDIA COMMENT IN RESPECT OF ZIMBABWEAN INDIGENISATION
Aquarius Platinum confirms recent media comment to the effect that its
(indirectly held) Zimbabwean subsidiary, Mimosa Holdings (Pvt) Ltd
("Mimosa"), received a letter on Friday, 19 August 2011 from the Minister
of Youth Development, Indigenisation and Empowerment that, inter alia,
rejects the proposed plan for indigenisation submitted by Mimosa on Monday,
9 May 2011, and further requires that Mimosa submit a revised proposal by
the end of August.
Mimosa`s senior management remains in discussions with all of the various
relevant Zimbabwean authorities in order to ensure that a satisfactory
position is arrived at within the timeframes required by the relevant
legislation. Further disclosures to shareholders will be made as
