UPDATE ON PARTIAL SALE OF INVESTMENT IN MUMBAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT PRIVATE

Bidvest announced on SENS on March 4 2011 that subject to certain conditions
precedent it had sold half of its economic interest in Mumbai International
Airport Private Limited for a profit of between R300 - R400 million.
As of today`s date, certain formalities remain to be completed and as such these
profits will not be included in the results to June 30 2011. The formalities are
expected to be completed by end September 2011.
Shareholders are reminded that this profit was over and above the normal
sustainable trading results of Bidvest.
