DIVIDEND FINALISATION ANNOUNCEMENT
Shareholders are referred to the dividend declaration released on SENS on 16
August 2011, wherein Aquarius Platinum declared a final dividend of 4 US cents
per share.
Shareholders are advised that the final dividend payable to South African
shareholders, registered as such on the South African share register on Friday,
9 September 2011, amounts to R0.28824 per share.
This was calculated at the US dollar to Rand exchange rate at the close of
business in Australia on 24 August 2011 which was R7.2060/US$1.
Accordingly the dividend payable on Friday, 30 September 2011 is R0.28824 per
share and shareholders are reminded of the salient dates as below:
Last day to trade `cum div` SA Friday, 2 September 2011
`Ex div` date SA Monday, 5 September 2011
Dividend record date Friday, 9 September 2011 (close of
business)
Dividend payment date Friday, 30 September 2011
The South African branch register will be closed for the purposes of
dematerialisation, rematerialisation and transfers between the South African
register and the UK and Australian registers from Monday, 5 September 2011 to
Friday 9 September 2011, both dates inclusive.
