TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are
required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are reasonably
certain that the financial results for the current reporting period will be
more than 20% different from that of the previous corresponding period being
30 June 2010 (the "prior comparative period").
Shareholders are advised that AOE expects earnings per share, on a
consolidated basis, to be between 30% to 33% higher for the year ended 30
June 2011 as compared to the prior comparative period and headline earnings
per share, on a consolidated basis, to be between 28% and 31% higher for the
year ended 30 June 2011 as compared to the prior comparative period.
The above information has not been reviewed or reported on by AOE`s external
auditors. The Company`s results for the year ended 30 June 2011 are
expected to be published on or about 8 September 2011.
