DECLARED FINAL DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON SHOPRITE HOLDINGS LIMITED HOT
ENHANCED DIVIDEND SECURITIES - ("SHPIHD")
The Directors of Shoprite Holdings Limited have declared a final
dividend of 165 cents payable on Monday, 19 September 2011 to ordinary
holders recorded in the books of the company at the close of business on
Friday, 16 September 2011.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Hot Enhanced Dividend
Securities, SHPIHD will receive a Shoprite Holdings Limited final
dividend of 165 cents per security on, Monday, 19 September 2011 in
terms of the Cession clause incorporated in the Supplement between the
holders and Investec Bank Limited. The last day to trade ("cum" the
interest dividend) in order to participate in the interim cash dividend
will be Friday, 9 September 2011.
SHPIHD Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the
dividend from the commencement of business on Monday, 12 September 2011,
and the record date will be Friday, 16 September 2011.
