CHANGE TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with Section 3.59 of the listing requirements of the JSE Limited,
Bidvest`s shareholders are hereby notified that Mr. Myron Cyril Berzack has
decided to leave the Bidvest Group to pursue his own interests and has tendered
his resignation as director with immediate effect.
Myron`s career with Bidvest subsidiary Voltex and its predecessors, and later
with the Bidvest Group (in both South Africa and Namibia) extends over 41 years.
During that period he has held a number of senior positions in the group,
including as Chairman and Chief Executive of Voltex, Chief Executive of
Bidvest`s Industrial and Commercial Products division, and Chairman or director
of numerous subsidiaries in the group. He has also served the group on its main
board of directors since April 2002.
Bidvest acknowledges Myron for his loyalty and commitment, and for his
leadership during his long period of service to the group.
