Preferred Bidder status awarded on the Winelands Toll Road project
Basil Read is pleased to announce that the South African National Roads Agency
Limited ("SANRAL") has selected the Protea Parkways Consortium as the Preferred
Bidder for the circa R10 billion Winelands Toll Road project (Western Cape,
South Africa).
The lead construction partners of the Protea Parkways consortium are Basil Read
Holdings Limited, Group Five Limited and Bouygues Travaux Publics SA (France).
The Protea Parkways Consortium will now, in consultation and negotiation with
SANRAL, take this project through to financial close.
