APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Illovo is pleased to announce that Mr Gavin Barry Dalgleish has been appointed
as an Executive Director of the Company with effect from 16 September 2011.
Mr Dalgleish, who holds a master`s degree in chemical engineering, is
presently a member of the Illovo Executive Committee, with responsibilities
for Continuous Improvement and Downstream operations. He first joined the
Company in 1988 as a postgraduate student and has since held a number of
technical, business development, operational and general management roles
within Illovo. Most recently he spent three years leading the Australia-based
global technology unit of AB Mauri, a yeast business and a fellow subsidiary
of Illovo`s holding company, Associated British Foods plc. He rejoined Illovo
in December 2010.
Mr Barry Michael Stuart will retire as Operations Director at the end of March
2012, after 40 years of distinguished service with the Company, whereupon Mr
Dalgleish will succeed Mr Stuart as Operations Director.
