Consultation process for acceptable indices and index calculators
The JSE issued guidance on its approach to approving index calculators in
November 2008. The existing guidelines are available on the JSE`s website.
The JSE has now decided to update the guidance and also to incorporate it into
the Listings Requirements. The proposed Listings Requirements are available on
the JSE`s website and interested parties are invited to submit their comments
by no later than 21 October 2011. Comments can be submitted electronically to
thandekam@jse.co.za.
