TRADING UPDATE
In terms of section 3.4(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited ("JSE"), companies are required to publish a trading statement as
soon as they are satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty exists
that the financial results for the period will differ by at least 20%
from the financial results for the previous corresponding period.
Shareholders are advised that the company is in the process of finalising
its financial results for the six month period ended 30 June 2011 and
advises that the loss for this period is expected to be between 0.6 and
0.8 cents per share as compared to a loss of 3.35 cents per share for the
comparable period. The headline loss for this period is expected to be
between 0.2 and 0.4 cents per share as compared to a loss of 4.23 cents
per share for the comparable period.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has
not been reviewed or reported on by the company`s auditors. The results
for the six month period ended 30 June 2011 are expected to be released
at the end of September 2011.
