RENEWAL OF CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT AND UPDATE ON PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED
TRANSACTIONS
Shareholders are referred to the previous cautionary announcements dated
4 January 2011, 20 January 2011, 15 February 2011, 25 March 2011, 6 May
2011, 11 July 2011 and 22 August 2011 respectively, and are advised that
certain negotiations referred to therein are still in progress.
Shareholders are accordingly advised to continue to exercise caution in
dealing with Bonatla shares until a further announcement in this regard
is made.
With regard to previously announced transactions, shareholders are
advised that the agreements with regard to the acquisition of the
Ruitersvlei Property Portfolio ("the Ruitersvlei transaction") and the
acquisition of a share in Tricom Structures Proprietary Limited and
Tricom Properties Proprietary Limited ("the Tricom transactions") have
lapsed. Subsequently, the company has decided not to pursue the Tricom
transaction. Although the Ruitersvlei transaction with Rara Avis
Properties Proprietary Limited has lapsed, a renewal is in the process of
being negotiated and a new agreement will be signed once all terms have
been agreed. Shareholders shall be advised of the terms of the new
agreement as soon as it has been signed and agreed.
The pro forma financial effects of the remaining acquisitions are
expected to be announced in due course, and the documentation in this
regard submitted to the JSE shortly.
