TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, a listed company is
required to publish a trading statement as soon as it becomes reasonably certain
that the financial results for the next period to be reported on will show a 20%
or more difference from those of the previous corresponding period.
The board has obtained a reasonable degree of certainty that the Group will
report a basic loss per share of between 44,13 cents and 42,24 cents, and a
headline loss per share of between 24,65 cents and 22,99 cents, respectively for
the half year ended 31 August 2011 compared to a basic and headline loss per
share of 9,46 cents and 8,30 cents respectively for the prior corresponding
period.
Trading conditions in the civil construction and commercial and industrial
building sectors have remained difficult over the past six months.
The Small Plant and Formwork business has been treated as a discontinued
operation following a resolution by the Board during July 2011.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by the Company`s auditors.
The unaudited condensed interim results for the period ended 31 August 2011 will
be announced on or about 7 October 2011.
