GRANT OF SHARE OPTIONS
African Eagle Resources plc ("African Eagle" or "the Company", ticker AIM: AFE,
AltX: AEA) today announces that it has granted 3,000,000 share options on 5
October 2011 at an exercise price of 10p to directors under the Company`s share
option schemes. The exercise price is 74% above the closing price of the
Company`s shares on 4 October 2011. The share options will become exercisable
after
5 October 2012 and will expire on 5 October 2016.

of the Company`s shares in issue.
