RIGHTS OFFER RESULTS ANNOUNCEMENT
The directors of Alert Steel are pleased to announce the results of the
rights offer of 1 515 151 515 new ordinary shares ("rights shares") at
a price of 3.3 cents per rights share in order to raise R50 million
("the rights offer"), which closed on Friday, 7 October 2011.
Applications were received in respect of all rights shares offered.
Share certificates has been posted to certificated shareholders and
their renouncees and the custody accounts of dematerialised
shareholders and their renouncees, who have followed their rights, have
been updated.
