AMENDMENT TO DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT ON SATRIX 40 ENHANCED DIVIDEND SECURITIES

Please note the amendment to the second paragraph of this announcement; 0.78
cents will be paid in respect of interest and not other income as previously
stated.
With reference to the distribution announcement, the Managers and Trustees of
SATRIX 40 (STX40) have declared a Distribution in the form of a dividend of
25.73 cents, 0.78 cents in respect of interest and 0.31 cents in respect of
scrip lending income per Satrix 40 security payable on the 18 October 2011 to
ordinary shareholders, recorded in the books of the company at the close of
business on Friday, 23 September 2011.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Distribution Securities,
STXIDF, will receive a SATRIX 40 distribution in the form of a dividend of
25.73 cents, 0.78 cents in respect of interest and 0.31 cents in respect of
scrip lending income per ordinary share to ordinary shareholders payable on
the 18 October 2011, in terms of the Cession clause incorporated in the
Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited.
