UPDATE ON INDUSTRIAL ACTION AT EVEREST
Aquarius Platinum Limited ("Aquarius") advises that in terms of an interim
agreement between Aquarius Platinum (South Africa) (Proprietary) Limited
("AQPSA") and the Association of Mining and Construction Unions ("AMCU"), the
protected strike at AQPSA`s Everest Mine by certain employees of Murray &
Roberts Cementation (Proprietary) Limited ("MRC") ended on 19 October 2011.
Production has resumed this morning. AQPSA will continue to foster the
discussions between AMCU and MRC in order to reach a lasting solution to the
dispute between them.
