Resignation of a director and appointment of Mr J A Vorster as a non-
executive director
In compliance with section 3.59(b) of the JSE Limited Listings
Requirements, the board of directors of Ideco ("the board") wishes to
inform shareholders that Mr Rainer Troester has resigned as director of
the Company with effect from 28 October 2011.
The chairman wishes to express his gratitude to Mr Troester for his
contribution to the Company during his term in office. The board wishes
him all of the best with his future endeavours.
Furthermore, the board is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Johan
Vorster as non-executive director with effect from 28 October 2011.
Mr Vorster is currently the CEO of Cyber Consulting (Pty) Limited.
His other directorships include Prodiba (Pty) Limited and Afritide
Systems Group (Pty) Limited.
He holds a B Eng (Industrial) degree from Pretoria University.
Mr Vorster has 25 years experience in information technology services and
management as well as has valuable experience with the implementation and
running of large biometric projects.
