TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of section 3.4 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, companies are
required to publish a trading statement as soon as they become reasonably
certain that the financial results for the period to be reported on will be more
than 20% different from that of the previous corresponding period.
The directors of Awethu anticipate that loss per share for the year ended 30
June 2011, will be in the region of (0.18) to (0.21) cents per share, headline
earnings per share of 0.15 to 0.18 cents per share from those reported for the
previous corresponding period being the year ended 30 June 2010.
The above information has not been reviewed or reported on by the Company`s
auditors.
The Company`s provisional results for the year ended 30 June 2011 will be
published on SENS on or about 31 October 2011.
