CASH DISTRIBUTION DECLARATION BY WAY OF A CAPITAL REDUCTION OUT OF SHARE
PREMIUM ("CASH DISTRIBUTION")
Shareholders are referred to the audited Group results announcement dated
27 September 2011 wherein it was stated that the board of directors had
declared a cash distribution in the form of a capital reduction out of
share premium of 9 cents per ordinary share.
Preference shareholders participate in distributions on the basis that
they are entitled to 15% of the aggregate distribution payable to
preference and ordinary shareholders. Having regard thereto, a cash
distribution of 25.48 cents per preference share has been declared in
terms of the Company`s Memorandum of Incorporation.
In compliance with the requirements of Strate, the electronic settlement
custody system used by the JSE Limited, the Company has determined the
following salient dates for the payment of the cash distributions for
ordinary and preference shareholders.
Last day to trade "cum" the Friday, 18 November 2011
