TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of paragraph 3.4 (b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon
as they become reasonably certain that the financial results for the
period to be reported on next will differ by at least 20% from those of
the previous corresponding period.
Accordingly, shareholders are advised as follows:
the company expects to report a headline loss per share of 4,0 pence
for the six-month period ended 31 August 2011; and
the company expects to report a basic loss per share of 3,4 pence for
the six-month period ended 31 August 2011.
The expected results for the period ended 31 August 2011 take into
account the effect of the share consolidation on the basis of 1 share
for every 10 shares held that became effective on 31 January 2011.
The financial information for the six months ended 31 August 2011
contained in this trading statement has not been reviewed and/or
reported on by the company`s auditors. It is anticipated that the
interim results for the six months ended 31 August 2011 will be
published on or about 21 November 2011.
